Our Pricing Structure and Flexible Financing Plans

The cost of your scalp micropigmentation depends on the size of the treatment area, your hair loss pattern, and the amount of coverage you need to create your desired look.

We’ll provide a clear quote during your consultation. We require a $400 non-refundable deposit to secure your appointments, and the remaining balance is divided between your first two sessions.

Eligible clients can also apply for financing through Cherry, with payment options starting at just $80 per month.

How We Keep Your Hair Tattoo Natural, Never “Blocky”

  1. Hairline Planning: We shape your hairline around your facial features, current hair growth, hair loss pattern, and age.
  2. Pigment Selection: We match the pigment to your skin tone and natural hair color so it blends smoothly with your scalp.
  3. Layered Sessions: We build your hair tattoo gradually over two to three appointments to avoid a dark, flat, or “blocky” look.
  4. Final Adjustments: We refine the shape, density, and balance as the pigment settles between sessions.
  5. Aftercare and Touch-Ups: We’ll explain how to protect your results and maintain them with touch-ups as the pigment softens over the next three to five years.

Aftercare Guidance to Keep Your Results Looking Fresh

Following your SMP aftercare instructions helps your scalp heal properly and keeps the pigment in your hair tattoo looking even.

We’ll explain exactly how to care for your scalp after each session.

During the first few days:

  • Keep your scalp dry for the first four days.
  • Don’t rub, scratch, touch, or pick at the treated area.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, tanning beds, swimming, saunas, steam rooms, and heavy sweating.
  • Don’t apply sunscreen, moisturizer, hair products, or topical treatments unless your artist approves them.

Over the following weeks:

  • Gently wash your scalp with lukewarm water and a mild cleanser after day four.
  • Pat the area dry with a clean towel or let it air-dry.
  • Allow any dryness or flaking to clear on its own.
  • Use a fragrance-free moisturizer once your artist says it’s safe.
  • Apply SPF 30 or higher after your scalp has healed to help limit fading.

Possible scalp micropigmentation side effects:

  • Mild redness, tenderness, or swelling
  • Temporary dryness, tightness, or light flaking
  • Pigment that looks darker at first before softening
  • Increasing pain, spreading redness, drainage, fever, or severe swelling that requires medical attention

These reactions are typically mild and improve as your scalp heals.

See a doctor if you experience worsening pain, spreading redness, increasing swelling, discharge, fever, or any other signs of infection.

When WIll You See Results After SMP?

line

You’ll notice a difference right after your SMP session, but the final look develops as your scalp heals and the pigment softens.

Here’s how your results may change over time:

  • Immediately After Treatment: Your pigment may look darker and more defined, and mild redness may last 24–72 hours.
  • Days 1–4: Your scalp begins healing while the pigment starts settling into your skin.
  • Days 5–7: You can begin gentle washing, though your results may still look bolder than expected.
  • Weeks 2–3: Dryness and flaking fade as the pigment takes on a softer, more natural look.
  • Weeks 4–6: Your healed results become clearer, allowing us to identify any areas that need added density or refinement.
  • Long Term: Your SMP will gradually fade over three to five years, and touch-ups can help restore its definition.

Everything You Should Know Before Booking

Are there any potential risks or complications with SMP?

SMP is generally safe when performed by a trained specialist using proper equipment and techniques. You may notice temporary redness, tenderness, swelling, dryness, or pigment that looks darker while your scalp heals.

Does the scalp micropigmentation procedure hurt?

Most clients describe SMP as mild scratching, pressure, or irritation rather than pain. Your comfort level may vary based on the treatment area and your individual sensitivity.

What factors should I consider before undergoing SMP?

Think about your hair loss pattern, preferred hairstyle, desired hairline, skin type, and the amount of coverage you want.

During your consultation, we’ll assess your scalp and recommend an approach that fits your goals.

Is scalp micropigmentation a worthwhile investment?

SMP can be a valuable option if you want long-lasting, low-maintenance coverage without surgery, medication, or daily concealers. Results can last three to five years before you need a touch-up.

Can a tattoo parlor perform scalp micropigmentation treatment?

A traditional tattoo artist may not have the training, scalp-specific pigments, or equipment needed to create realistic SMP results.

Choose a practitioner who specializes in scalp micropigmentation and knows how to design natural-looking hairlines and density.
